I just found this email from from Gram, sent 22 Nov ember 2004, just after her party...
It was such a wonderful party thank all of you so much the food was delicious and such a nice variety and a beautiful cake Sue my Memory book is a real Treasure so I was so happy so many from my Church came and the Twins and IMaJean, some occasions I had forgotten about.
Its wonderful to be so old and So Loved

Thanks for posting this Mom. After hearing Barney speak at the Memorial Service, it reaffirmed how much Gram loved her 90th birthday party, how touched she was that we planned such a bash for her. I think it was a source of pride amongst her friends.
She sure was loved by a lot of people, not just her family. I was looking through her 90th Birthday scrapbook and I had forgotten how many people sent cards and photographs and remembrances.
I like what she said about the party, "It's like going to my own funeral, only I get to be there!" I'm sure she and Grandad were smiling down from heaven during the Memorial Service.

Thanks for doing her books, Sue. I know you put a lot of effort into them. Not only did Gram benefit, but we do, too, because we have so many of her memories preserved.
